How Do Fleas Get In.

Fleas can be tracked is from almost anything, although animals are probably more to blame. Fleas may be found in and outside, and on your pet.

How To Keep Fleas Out.
  1. Whether or not you are aware of fleas in your home, regularly vacuum and launder areas where your pet rests to avoid flea buildup.

  2. Locate heavily infested areas (usually areas where the pet rests) and concentrate treatment there.

  3. Wash throw rugs and pet bedding.

  4. Vacuum upholstered furniture, cleaning under cushions and in crevices.

  5. Vacuum carpets, especially beneath furniture.

  6. Use a hand sprayer or aerosol to treat all carpets and unwashable upholstered furniture with an insecticide that contains an IGR (methoprene or pyriproxyfen). This treatment kills larvae but not pupae, so fleas may continue to emerge for up to 2 weeks.

  7. Over the next two weeks vacuum regularly to remove adult fleas that emerge from pupae. Do not reapply pesticides.

  8. Seal vacuum bags and discard them so fleas don’t escape.

Professional Extermination Method.

Fleas require a lot of help from the customer. Before our trained technician applies an insect grown regulator, which not only kills flea, but prevents the young from reaching adulthood, it is important that the customer removes all clutter from carpeted areas. We also recommend that all pets be put on a flea-treatment program. Our technicians will then educate you on further preventative measures.
